The district is open: Golden District is now available on Google Play for Android. After pre-registration and plenty of work behind the scenes, it is time to start building your own neighbourhood.
The idea is simple: start with a small business and give it room to grow. But between buying your next lot, upgrading a gelateria and preparing a delivery, you will keep finding new decisions to make.
From your first lemonade stand to your own district
Start by choosing a lot and opening a source of income. A lemonade stand is a good place to begin. More options follow, including a gelateria and a comic book shop. Each business has a place on the isometric map: the city you manage is also the city you see taking shape.
Your earnings let you raise business levels, buy land and try different businesses. Maintenance matters too, so there is a reason to return to buildings you already own.
An economy beyond the coin counter
The market gives your production another purpose. Collect goods from your businesses, manage warehouse space and fill customer orders for coins and XP. Spend a moment organising deliveries or focus on your next city upgrade.
Objectives for today. A Legacy for tomorrow.
Missions help you choose your next step, while achievements keep track of the milestones along the way. The Legacy system lets you invest in permanent benefits, giving you a reason to think beyond the next building.
You do not need to keep the game open all day either. Come back to collect income earned while you were away, then decide where to invest it.
